The College Board honors exemplary educators and schools for their outstanding work in inspiring and helping their students succeed.

The Inspiration Awards
Three winning high schools will be awarded $25,000 each, and five schools will receive honorable mention awards of $1,000 each.

Six teachers or teaching teams who are doing an inspiring job of teaching their students to write will be award $3,000 each.

America’s future scientists are on alert as registration opens for the 2008-09 Siemens Competition in Math, Science & Technology.  Students may enter an individual or team research project and compete to win thousands of dollars in college scholarships.

2008-09 Access & Diversity Collaborative National Seminars

The Access & Diversity Collaborative has scheduled several sessions through June 2009 of the following seminars: Knowing the Basics, a fundamental series on federal law and its impact on institutional mission and diversity enrollment goals, and Leading Institutional Change, an advanced series focusing on issues of mission alignment, policy review and development, communication and consensus building to achieve diversity enrollment goals in the context of current federal and state law.
