The College Board’s Academic Assembly Council met in New York on May 1-2. Among the topics for discussion were reports from the Academic Advisory Committee chairs, reports from the regions, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act and a College Board advocacy update.

The College Scholarship Service Assembly Council met in New York on May 18-19, and the Guidance and Admission Assembly Council will gather May 21-22. Each national assembly is led by a governing council composed of representatives from member institutions. The assembly councils manage the affairs of the assemblies and advise the Board of Trustees and the president of the College Board on matters of concern to the assemblies.
