Announcing the CollegeKeys $5,000
Innovation Awards

The College Board is committed to recognizing exemplary programs and practices that expand educational options for low-income students. Each year, 18 CollegeKeys Compact™ members will receive special recognition through the CollegeKeys Innovation Awards program. In each of the College Board’s six regions, three initiatives — one each in the categories of Getting Ready, Getting In and Getting Through — will be selected for their innovation and demonstrated efficacy in increasing the percentage of low-income students who get ready for, get into or get through college successfully.

Each winning submission will receive an award of $5,000 to help expand or sustain the program. The first Innovation Awards will be presented at the College Board regional forums in February 2010.

We encourage members to submit their effective practices online by Oct. 30, 2009, to be considered for this year’s awards. Visit www.collegeboard.com/collegekeys to sign on to the Compact and submit your effective practice. If you have questions, please contact the CollegeKeys office at 202-741-4702 or collegekeys@collegeboard.org.
