We welcome the year 2010 with great excitement for all the work going on around the Midwest advancing college readiness and success. We are particularly delighted to announce Salome Thomas-EL as a keynote speaker at the Midwestern Regional Forum. Having served as a Philadelphia School District administrator for over 20 years, Thomas-EL is committed to motivating students to attend magnet high schools and major colleges and universities. He is a recipient of the Marcus A. Foster Award for outstanding school administration in Philadelphia. Join us to hear Thomas-EL’s inspiring perspective on leadership, mentoring and service to others.
In addition to offering you the opportunity to learn from Salome Thomas-EL’s experiences as an educator, we invite you to join us for the outstanding sessions that the Program Planning Committee has put together. Following the theme of “Education: Transforming Our Future,” Program Planning Committee members built a robust series of learning threads to provide both depth in your areas of expertise as well as opportunities to learn about the college readiness and success work taking place in other functional areas.
